Staff was nice. Was unsure how my new dog would react to other people/animals and they allowed us to wait outside and called us in when it was time.

I am undecided right now. I have only been there one time so far. It is a clean office and the person that checked me out was very nice. I was a little uncomfortable for being chastised for using the wrong door. I hope my fur babies are treated good.

Dr.Louise Todd spent almost 2 hours with me when I rescued my dog. She took her time in treating him and explained things to me. Very compassionate!

Last week I took my dog to get her nails trimmed. I got stuck in traffic and ended up being 15 minutes late, no worries for them because they had plans to act as if I hadn't been standing there waiting for a good 10 minutes. I was unsure if they had even seen me since I hadn't gotten a "we'll be with you shortly!" or anything like that. OK - so the real drama starts here: my dog and I enter the room, I place her on the table, and the vet walks in with a shot in each hand. Reminder: I came here to get my dog's NAILS TRIMMED, not for her to be loaded with shots. I had brought my record of my dog's last shots along with me because I had a feeling that the vet would push for my dog to have another rabies shot. (At this location, they give rabies shots every year -- which is extremely unnecessary). I screamed "Wait! What is that?!" referring to the shot, but it was too late because the vet had already stuck the needle in my dog's neck. The vet did not answer my question. I was a little frantic and I picked up the paper I brought with me and I told him that she did not need a rabies shot. He informed me that it was a distemper shot, but why couldn't he have told me what he was planning on doing before sticking a needle in my dog's neck? Who acts like that at their place of employment? The vet refused to even look at the paper I brought with. He then begins trimming her nails and two of them start bleeding (not his fault, I understand that this can happen) and I get blood all over my arms from holding my dog. The vet noticed that I was getting smeared in blood and did not offer me a napkin or direct me to a bathroom where I could wash myself off. And, that was it... $66. I went to pay my bill and was once again totally ignored by the ladies at the desk, they were running around like chickens without a head and did not acknowledge me (even though I was in plain sight) for what seemed like 15 minutes. I will NEVER take my dog here again.

I have had trouble here with my cat as well, every time I would take her to the vets they would load her up with steroid shots because of her allergies and send her on her way. Giving a small animal so many steroids so often is terrible for them and could have made her sick if we hadn't decided to take her to the Line Mountain Animal Hospital to be treated. Strongly suggest taking your pets there if you want great service provided by people who really know their stuff and really care about the animals.

I'm thankful that this veterinary hospital runs a rabies clinic. With a bunch of kitties that were stray cats... It helps to get them all their rabies vaccinations. Thank you to the Doctor Todd & Doctor Todd & to all who help with this.
